Children of Chemistry – 2-22

After giving more than 40 performances across Quebec, Sébastien Provencher is offering an original and adapted version of his work Children of Chemistry in the showcase of Le 2-22, a cultural venue located in Montreal’s Quartier des spectacles. Children of Chemistry is inspired by the masculine and feminine standards conveyed in the media and popular culture. With humour tinged with sarcasm, the choreographer plays with gender codes to convey the absurdities that lead us to perceive our society in a binary way. Initially choreographed for 5 dancers, this showcase adaptation bring together 12 performers per show.

Presented by Danse Danse at Edifice 2-22, from September 23 to 26, 2021.
