Lorganisme is extremely proud and honored to announce that Sovann Rochon-Prom Tep has just won the Jacqueline-Lemieux Prize ! Each year, the Canada Council for the Arts recognizes the work of an established dance professional who has made an outstanding contribution to dance in Canada.

Established in 1980, the Prize is given in memory of Jacqueline Lemieux’s profound contribution to the development of Canadian dance. Co-founded with her husband, Lawrence Gradus, of the Montreal dance company Entre-Six and of Québec Été Danse, a summer school in Lennoxville, Jacqueline Lemieux was a teacher, administrator and member of the Canada Council for the Arts’ Advisory Panel. The Prize comes with a $6,000 grant.
