Tamar Tabori on linterface

artist in digital residence

Lorganisme is pleased to welcome Tamar Zehava Tabori for a 6-week digital residency dedicated to artists at the start of their career.

Tamar is an emerging dance and video artist. She received a BFA in Contemporary Dance from Montreal’s Concordia University, has created and performed work across Canada and internationally on stage and on screen. Her experimental short films bring together convergent streams of dance and media in the realization of cohesive performances, and have screened at over 15 festivals worldwide. She maintains an active engagement with the dance community, locally, nationally, and internationally, using digital platforms as sites of creative exchange and connectivity. Tamar is currently an Associate Artist for Company 605 and Associate Artistic Director at the Festival of Recorded Movement (F-O-R-M).

During this residency, Tamar wishes to further root into methods of digital intervention that can actively redefine her current movement practice, and dig deeper into how dance and augmented reality can collide in real time. Follow her process through her creation journal !
