Lorganisme is offering 2 digital residencies to established dance artists* as part of Linterface project.

Linterface is an exploration and creation lab intended for digital experimentation in dance, a virtual space to appropriate by artists who wish to investigate new areas of creation, work and reflect on digital media (video, projection, animation, virtual reality, augmented reality, and more). This project is designed for artists with practices that integrate new media or who wish to develop their expertise with digital tools within their creations. The platform relies on the promotion and visibility of artistic processes, through the deployment of creation journals where resident artists can freely unfold their researchs and reflections.

Without any production requirement, each residency consists of a period of paid research and exploration giving the artists the opportunity to explore creative possibilities in approaching digital formats of their choice and webcasting.

Over 8 weeks, the residencies give the opportunity to:

During the project, the resident artists receive production support from Lorganisme. Tailored to accommodate the creation journals form, Linterface allows the artists to document their work during the residency. Over the weeks, they will be asked to share pieces of their creation processes in various formats: photos, video capsules, interviews, choreographic notebook pages, drawings or sketches, audio tracks, zoom discussion, live sessions, etc.

During their research and creation cycle, the resident artists will also have the possibility to share digital works they own in the Club Video section accessible by subscription.

At the end of the residency, the artists will be asked to produce a wrap-up content in the form of their choice (interview with a member from Lorganisme, video, podcast, etc.) Residencies require a sustained investment of time and will take place during one of the following periods:
